Home and Away’s Colby Thorne gets a travel ban put on the Parata family

Home and Away spoilers follow for UK and Australian readers.

Home and Away is lining up a nasty shock for the Parata family, as Colby Thorne (Tim Franklin) takes action against them.

In scenes set to air next week in Australia and around a month’s time on Channel 5 for UK viewers, Colby is set to get in the way of the Parata sons travelling back to their native New Zealand in order to scatter the ashes of Nikau’s (Kawakawa Fox-Reo) late father Mikaere.

Instead, Colby will get a travel ban put on the boys following a break-in at the Diner (yet to air in the UK), which he suspects them of being behind. Eek.

The shock move was recently confirmed by Ethan Browne, who plays Nikau’s uncle Tane on the Australian soap.

“This trip has been on the family’s mind for a while,” Ethan told New Idea magazine.

“This is something they all need to do in order to begin the healing process.”

He added: “Gemma gets through but the boys don’t.
